Does anyone know if the tailgate from other hatchbacks besides a VX would work? For example, would the tailgate from a teal DX work? Do the colors match and are they mechanically the same?
yes, other tailgates from 92-95 civics will work. Now getting a teal one that matches the fade might be hard, but maybe you can din one that isn't so noticeable.

Jeebus! I let a clean white tailgate go for $20.....you can't give them away around here. I'll keep an eye out for one though.
