Another update - Today I was able to collect the rest of my refund from OxygenSensor.net through PayPal, so it's not a complete scam. I still would not recommend them though, since they don't reply to emails and don't list any other way to get in touch with them.

I just got one for my VX on the bay... 62.00 shipped to my door.. However you have to use the old plug.. use butt connectors to splice the old plug to the new sensor... I let you guys know how it works...

I'm a bit dubious about this. The old plug contains a calibration resistor. That's why there are 7 pins in the plug (it's an 8-pin plug, so one position is blank) and only 5 wires going to the sensor.

I think that calibration resistor is matched to the sensor (although I'm not sure).

I know the listing claims that it's a genuine L1H1, but it's hard to understand why the original plug got cut off.

Anyway, I think there's a good chance it will work fine. And you didn't pay much. But maybe you should monitor what it's doing and try to make sure it's working properly.

Have you installed the new sensor? I've seen the same ones on ebay, and was wondering if it worked out for you.

beware Global Automotive. my o2 sensor from them gives me a CEL whenever the o2 sensor isn't hot.
