Complete VX swap/ecu in NJ $400

Found it on Honda-tech. I'm kind of weary to that it has 115k on it like he says since it looks more oily than the 243k mile vx swap I pulled from my car...

But who knows, maybe he'll come up with some proof about the mileage.

how the hell does that guy think that a vx motor will be worth $400??

i bet you guys could offer $150 and get it for $175 and even for that price it better be flawless. i just sold a d16z6 long block with wiring harness, bad tranny and mounts for $200

VX complete swaps are quite hard to come-by though, especially ones that run well, and from my experience in junkyards and looking all over the local internet ads, much harder to find than Z6 swaps. But I think you are right that he will probably end up selling this for about $200-300 depending on the right buyer.

Personally, I got kinda ripped off when I bought my 120k mile vx longblock and bad tranny for $250...but then again, the motor runs perfect, and inside it looks like it has 40k on it, so I can't really complain.

My friend who just picked up his vx will probably pick this up since he was talking about wanting a spare, and I don't see this selling fast on Honda-tech.
