I know. I flip flop often on that. Just wondering out loud. If I decide to get a VX, I will ask you to find me one. Hoping that a CX tranny and possible a B8 head might not get me the same thing. I know the VX has lean burn but from what I understand, lean burn will only happen under light load. I rarely find myself under light load. Mainly ign off coasting or hill climbing. Im thinking a taller tranny and a torque curve shifted lower would be more beneficial.

Now if I were to have a longer commute at highway speeds, then a VX or an Insight would be the bomb. Right now, not the case but things change. I hate my job right now, just too political. I dont like to kiss *** and who knows, it might be something that I could be fired over.

The d15z1 also has an

The d15z1 also has an assload more torque then the b8, but I haven't seen it dynoed, so *shrug*

Not to mention the pistons are designed with swirling in mind, which is also a good thing.

And the head has roller rockers.

And the engine just plain lasts long.
