Bike engine in a Metro

This isn't exactly a FE based motor swap, but there's some good pics of the swap so you can all get a good idea of how to do it. Personally I'd prefer a small displacement 2 cylinder engine, or maybe a tractor diesel. I found it significant that the front differential is still being used so both wheels get power- no torque steer. Enjoy!

Neat conversion- but many of us would miss having a reverse gear.

Freakin awsome. I always wanted to do this in a small MG or Opel GT. Perhaps you could use the bike gear box and the car's gear box together.

I seem to recall seeing chain drive differentials for this kind of thing in racing parts catalogs. I'm pretty sure there are versions that also include a reverse gear.
Turbo Hayabusa swap maybe?
