1989 Civic DX hatch 5spd manual. Car has 202000 miles, however the engine is a 92-95 Civic VX vtec-e series with less than 60,000 miles. Car is driven nearly every day and is averaging 37 mpg now but can probably be better. The engine is currently running a 4 wire 02 sensor and a P65 ecu, in order to take full advantage of the vtec-e engine, it should be running a 5 wire 02 and a different ecu, which I have not gotten around to yet. This was a project car and just don't have the desire, or time, to finish. This swap did require an obd0-obd1 conversion. The car has absolutely NO rust, however it does have some front passenger side bumper and quarter panel damage: bumper cover has a hole beneath headlight, the bumper filler plate is slightly dented beneath the hood and the dent in the fender did not chip any paint, one front lug nut broke and will need to be replaced. LOTS of parts placed on this car in the last 2 years to include:
water pump and timing belt, new plugs wires and pcv valve, new clutch, new distributor, new cv axles, vtec solenoid, , starter, alternator, new window tint, new tires with less than 5000 miles, very light civic VX wheels, new stereo dash unit and door speakers, new master cylinder and a rebuilt a/c compressor. Interior clean with only one rip in driver side seat but currently has seat covers. Also have an entire set of extra tires with low miles.
