1996 Chevy C1500
I am selling the Hiccup Truck to make room for another truck. I don't really want to sell it, but I just picked up another truck and I don't have room for 2 of them.
The truck for sale is a 1996 Chevy C1500 regular cab long bed 2WD with the 4.3L V6, automatic, and 3.08 rear end. It has just shy of 275,000 miles on it as of this writing. The engine and transmission were rebuilt or replaced at some point according the previous owner. When I bought it a year ago at 267,458 miles, he told me the engine has about 60,000 on it. That would mean it has about 70,000 on it now. The engine starts right up every time, sounds good, and runs like a champ. The transmission shifts smoothly.
This is a work truck, which means it has no power windows, locks, or mirrors, no tilt steering, no cruise control, and no carpet. The truck has a power seat out of a '98 Chevy truck.
Maintenance in the past year:
267,484 miles: New front brake pads, rotors, calipers, and wheel bearings.
268,100 miles: Alignment
269,829 miles: Blower motor resistor
269,836 miles: EGR Valve
270,838 miles: New rear tires
274,102 miles: Spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, water pump, radiator hose, serpentine belt, belt tensioner.
I also replaced the passenger side door handle, the taillight circuit boards, and all the lights on the truck except the front turn signals. The cargo light does work.
What does it need? The A/C needs charged and the truck could use an alignment.
I am asking $2,200 OBO.
