I too agree... Granted mine is not a VX, but my low rust 145K mile '95 DX Sedan I only paid $800 for.

I would say that $3,500 is a realistic price to get out of it. Maybe list for $4,000 OBO and make $3,500 your bottom dollar when they start to haggle with you.

Thanks for the input guys, I guess I've got some thinking to do. I'll update when I decide what to do for sure.

very nice condition! just like mine when i first got it. then the color did not satisfy me after a few months. 16 years this month and a couple of color changes later it's still mine. good luck with your decision. through the years i have gotten offers but glad i kept it. it is my first new car and second honda.

How about $1,000, and a '74 Mercedes 450 SLC? I'm in Camas, WA. It has a recently rebuilt engine and transmission.

Thanks for the offer but I'm not looking for any trades. If anything I need to clear up some space to make room for another car I want.

Hold firm @ 4k. List it on autotrader and it will be bought in a matter of days. Clean VX's are hard to find. The one thing bad about your car is no a/c, still 4k is very possible.

I think I will do this. Gas prices are still going up in my area and I remember a couple of summers ago when they were at their peak the price of a nice VX was through the roof. If I don't sell it in the next few months I will think about dropping below $4K.

All right, so I've thought about it and I'm tired of looking at (and paying insurance for) a car I don't use. I've lowered the price to $3900/offer. I've had people tell me that I should be able to get $4000 + out of it but unless one of them wants to buy it from me I don't see it happening right now. Gas prices are on their way up but people are financially tight right now so I know I probably won't get what I could've gotten two years ago. I would like to sell this on the forum because I really don't want some kid to get their hands on it and destroy it. Please only make an offer if you are fairly serious about buying it but please feel free to ask anything about it even if you aren't sure it's what you want. (Maybe I can talk you into buying it. ) Also, don't be afraid if you think your offer might be a lowball, I won't be offended and the worst I will do is say no.
