That's true. The only other minor thing would be if the correction factor was off it could fudge things a bit but were after some numbers Matt.

the scangauge was reporting between 15 and 23ish on the trip back. On the highway I was usually around 17 or 18mpg. If it's just doubling based on the engine size, then I was getting over 40mpg on my trip home at certain times.

That sounds pretty good for a new, tight engine. It won't be long until we hear about numbers in the 50's.

Just took it for another spin. looks like 50mpg is VERY doable in this car with the right driving. Having a scangauge is awesome.
