Depends on what I'm driving. On my current Audi Q5 SUV, standard front hinge works just fine.

Few folks know much about that sexy Mercedes with the cool gullwing doors, like the headroom consumed by the door swinging mechanism, or the high, bathtub-like step-over to get in. But at least they look cool.
