now that helgas dead what should i get to replace her? my parents and i have bout $10K for a used car. i'd like to get a 2K civic SI. MPG is not #1 but it IS on my list.

Those SIs can actually get decent gas mileage. I saw a 2004 SI for $15k at the dealership the other day.

I'd get a 2006 with the r18, you could prolly find one that head a heavy first year,

$10k? You could pick up a CRX in good condition and convert it to electric or lower a diesel engine in it and run it on B100.

But if you don't want to go through all that work, look for a Honda CRX HF, Honda Civic VX, or Geo Metro XFi and save the rest.
