i found www.taxact.com to be simpler and cheaper than turbotax.

I tried the efile, and then turbotax. TT gave me a larger number (its like a game watching the counter count up and down!).

I went with the larger number. Was the efile less accurate? possibly, it just means TT found/had more things highlighted that benefited me.

1)...Turbo Tax if simple....2)....Accountant if complicated.............3)...or you could just run away to Australia and hide in the bush or something.

We've been using TT since we discovered it online 3 years ago. It makes it much easier not having to dig up various forms and instructions.
