The window through which we look

I got this in an email and thought it was worth sharing. don't read into it, take it for what it is and nothing more

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young
woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
'That laundry is not very clean', she said.
'She doesn't know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.'

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the
young woman would make the same comments.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a
nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:

'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this?'

The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and
cleaned our windows.'

And so it is with life. What we see when watching others
depends on the purity of the window through which we look.

nice story. well, you started inspirational dialogue so...

a young boy, upon hearing his school would collect gifts and money for needy families for christmas, ran home to ask his parents for help. his parents did not have the means to help, so the boy decided to try to earn money to fund his endeavor.

he went around his neighborhood asking to do chores for money. raking leaves, washing cars, and whatever needed done gave him great joy and a little cash.

he waited until THE last day to turn in his money, however school was cancelled that day due to a snow storm the night before. undiscouraged, he decided to walk to school in the snow to deliver his goods.

as he arrived, the principal answered the door in amasement that someone did not get the message to stay home. the boy gave the man his money explaining that he didn't want his gift to miss the deadline.

the principal accepted the unselfish gift doing his best to hold back tears because THAT boy's family was on the list of recipients for help!
