Teg seats on ebay....opinions?

I need some expert advice.....I've been looking for seats for my `92 VX for a while now, and ran across these on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-01...spagenameZWD1V

Price isn't too bad, shipping is OK, I think they'll fit OK with my VX rails. Not real clean, but shouldn't these clean up OK?

Even though the title says they are Integra seats, they actually came out of a civic. Integra seats by comparison are much more comfortable for your back, and have adjustable lumbar support. I would go with Integra seats instead, since they shouldnt cost any more than those civic seats.

The major things that shows they are civic and not integra seats, is that off-center, rigid, mount for the headrest. Integras have the headrest with a hole in it and are mounted from the center of the seat, are height adjustable, and mount with two metal "sticks." This is true for all Integra seats regardless of the generation of the car (89-01).

Appreciate the tip....I am still ignorant of many of the nuances of the Honda. I'll keep looking for the Integra seats.

These look a lot better....shipping is way high, though. May try to talk them down on that....

I would also look for OEM Del Sol seats. Apparenly they are just as comfortable as integra seats, but you sit about 1-1/2" lower. I gave a Gen 3 Integra and you actually sit pretty high in the car. People apparenly swap to Del Sol seats to sit a little lower.

Thanks for the info, but not a big deal for me as I'm "height impaired". Might have to sit on a phonebook if the seats were much lower!

I would go onto honda-tech.com, and browse the local classifieds. (you'll have to join and post a few times to be able to post in them, but there is some good Honda info on that site) I'm sure you'll find a set of Integra seats on there in not too long, for probably half the price of most ebay OEM seats.

I've seen perfect black leather ones on there before, out of a newer integra, for only $100 picked up. Cloth ones often go for $70 or less.
