snow and my mpg
I'm bored so I thought I'd share that my fuel consumption goes down when there's snow out. Why? because I'll break the tires free doing 1500 rpm in 4th if I tap the gas a little not to mention lower gears. So I tend to stay under 5% throttle.
Don't worry:
still stops side by side with most other cars. I take corners faster than other people just fine but give it a any gas and woohoo I'm sideways. not that I mind, in the 3 hours I spend driving around every snowfall I've bumped 2 curbs barely hard enough to notice (if you lock up the front wheels braking while turning in a RWD, tap the gas a little...just a little. rear kicks around and you make the turn) and the only time I've been stuck was trying to start from a stoplight uphill on ice. It's AAAAAALLL about control.
