Ah the mighty Land Rover, 6 cylinders and a handful of gears, had a chance to drive one in 99, loved it. They should teach drivers ed in those things. They were like pets, part of the family, like a horse to a cowboy. You can see them in The Gods Must Be Crazy, 1 and 2, also John Wayne movies in Africa.

Our Forward Control had a six, but, they all had 4-speed transmissions.
