I wonder if that's a "free" lease on the Smart, and you don't get to keep that either...

LOL, $1600/mo mortgage and you only get 10,000 miles per year. That's got to be one hell of a car...or for incredibly vain people.

that's an $88,000 vehicle (when purchasing) with a 295hp V6 and a 7 speed auto trans.

even I will admit that $1600 monthly is nuts for a car. maybe they are marketing the pair as the environmentally friendly deal. you get the hybrid and the best "pure gas" vehicle on the market.

I'm not running out to get on the band wagon on this one. (though I do like the smart car)

Put the smart car in the trunk and you won't need to carry a spare tire.

For $1600/month, you could buy the Smart Car with your first year's lease payments, and rent a Mercedes, Porsche, or something else for 30,000 miles over the next two years. Or you could buy the Smart Car with the first year's $19,200 in lease payments, and a nice Buick or Lexus or Acura or Infiniti with the remaining two years' $38,400.

Because the brown help needs wheels too and that old beater toyota parked in front of my house just won't do. What will the neighbors think?
