to be specific, the thought was attacking what those people stand for NOT who they are.
also, the USA is a republic that supports democracy.
BTW, Ron Paul DOES have some great ideas, and hillary MIGHT have one or two, but not a total package.

Ron Paul has already said he is not running as a 3rd party candidate. He is running for the Republican nomination. If the Republicans want to win in 08 then they should be taking a hard look at him because he draws the middle field so well. He isn't going to be a split-vote candidate.

wow! was not aware of that. IF he wins the rep nomination, i would consider voting for him. because i'm an independent, can't vote in the primaries tho.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but by haranguing 3rd party candidates you are preventing almost everyone in the country from finding someone they consider the total package. This do this best with the worst election system is crap.
But thanks for clearing up the idea that you were attacking women and not just hilary specifically.
In any case...

perhaps you misunderstood me. "those people" referred to the clintons--BOTH of them. also "total package" referred: not perfect(no such candidate), just pro-American(not pro-self)views and moral integrity.
please do not go there--attacking ANY group of people is NEVER my intent. believing otherwise would be the same as calling me a liar. call me anything BUT a liar. ALL races, cultures, sexes, etc. have the same value.

I would be happy with any combination of Kucinich/Edwards/Gore/Obama/Clinton, in that order.
I only mentioned the Guliani because I think it is the better "3rd-Party" comparison.

i'm not sure there is a candidate for my vote out there. still early tho. i would have difficulty voting democrat especially if he/she supports raising taxes. Paul seems okay, but can he win the republican ticket?
