Ok, you Screw Balls!

I found this site about 4 months ago, I thought alot of you were crazy. I said I would only change my driving speed, and no way would I be coasting.

Well, I've been coasting with the engine on and my 86 Toyota MR2 got 43.7 mpg. I was so excited I had to post! Before I found this site, I was lucky to get 35mpg.

Thanks for the advice, (at least thanks for the threads I read). Who knows, maybe I will be killing the engine next LoL.

Great Site!

Ryan

Wow, we are getting lots of new people. Yeah, most normal people think we are a bit crazy. Check out SVO's super awesome thread of knowledge

Hi kozaz.

I laughed out loud when I read your post. I can totally identify: it's a slippery slope, and I'm on a krazy karpet going fast.

Welcome to the site. And - awesome results. Good stuff.

I can't take all the credit for that thread, 95 metro did the compilation on the busted/confirmed mods. Oh how we miss him.

You can put me in that boat too. I found this site and thought what a bunch of nuts! Not I am happy and might say proud to be one of those nuts.

And again welcome. (try the engine off........)

Am I doing this right?

Hi!
I'm new at this PC stuff...all I want is to "hook up" with fellow car nuts & see what we can do to improve our rides! This forum acts a little different than others ; since I don't "play by any rules", I'm just surfing around...getting into trouble! LOL!
My big claim-to-fame is a variation on a chemical "brew" for changing the chemistry of combustion...I tried this out years ago, and I've been playing around with it ever since! It just keeps getting better & better. Question: Where do I post such an item? Is there a "for sale" bracket? -whitevette

Just FYI, it's best to keep items for sale to the For Sale forum. Repeated mentioning of products, especially ones untested by at least a few of our members, will be views as spam and will be treated accordingly.

I can verify your first impressions. These people are crazy.

But after you've posted here a while...you get used to it.
