New Gassavers members: what brought you here?
In case it isn't obvious to the regulars, GS has seen a pretty serious influx of new members in the last week or 2.
I'm curious what's driving this new activity. GS linked from somewhere else? High gas prices? What's going on?
If you're new here, and feel like posting a quick reply, go for it...

Probably the MSN article. The day it came out (two days ago), we hit a new record number of users online, and hit another record of 586 yesterday.

Yes, the MSN article was a big factor... as was the redesign of the frontpage.
Unfortunately, the previous front page design was not very user friendly. Today, with the front page and the easier navigation we're experiencing amazing growth.

I'm kinda new here. The reason why i came here was because people in other sites such as d-series, crxsi.com, templeofvtec... etc didn't want me there. i wanted info about how i can boost up mpg and they kept calling me a "F A G", so thank God i found this website with so much info about saving gas, and how to keep my egotistical mind to a 0 when it comes to driving.

I found a mention of the site somewhere on the Intraweb! It may have been a Honda Fit site, as I was trying to convince myself to drop $17K on a car that gets worse mileage than my 94.
Glad I found you guys.

I found this web site because I wanted to know if a honda insights aluminum brake drums would fit on a crx, and this site came up because someone had done it, then I started looking around, and realized that this was a crazy place
