I need to go to wherever that is.

I wish my wife and my finances shared that need.

Money?
Go to www.bestfares.com sign up for the email updates and you'll get super deals like; London, round trip for $350.00.
I know you are screwed by the Delta monopoly, but there are still cheap ways for you to get to Vegas, where there are great promo deals for rooms and meals and shows. See some great shows then drive up the back of California, along the Nevada border. You'll start in desert and end thinking you are in the Alps. Then you'll turn left and climb 7,000 feet, almost straight up, and arrive at the picture.

Been there, done that. When I was in grad school, my advisor took three of us over 240 miles of dirt roads below the border to paradise in northwest Sonora. A year later, I took my wife and daughter there. We bought Ironwood carvings from Seri Indian craftsmen in their village at Desemboque, saw Ospreys nesting in Cardon Cacti, porpoises mating offshore, a coyote took her pups through our camp at night, and the fishing was out of this world. I caught three California Halibut on artificial spoons, caught a pelagic Wahoo shorecasting, caught Leopard Grouper, and had a school of Monterey Sierra chasing baitfish so close to shore, they were beaching themselves to avoid the Sierra. I'd hook a Sierra, and if it got loose, one crank of the reel, and I'd hook another.

I realized then that if I asked ten friends to come with me on an adventure like that, 9 of them would turn down the opportunity, saying they had to do laundry, go to work, didn't have the money, etc. I swore I'd never turn down an opportunity to do a trip like that, and I haven't, for the past 40 years.

So I know where Shatto took that photo, and I've been there - to every state in the USA, to every ocean in the world, to every continent except Antarctica (don't worry, it's on my bucket list), to 42 of our 58 National Parks. I've snorkeled in most of the places in the Beach Boys' song Kokomo. Don't cheat yourself. You only get one shot at life, so don't blow yours.

You can take your boom-box and turn it up real loud, so everybody can hear.

When I first saw the picture, and the title, the first thing that came to mind was the old Firesign Theater album "I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus". And the song: "Back From the Shadows Again"...
