Tammara would kill me if I came home with another car. Also, they'd probably want $10,000 because of the wheels.

That was Popup's

They are getting REALLY good coin right now. Every time gas goes up .20+ cents people flock to ebay for economy. When gas was over $3.00 I sold a base model for $2200 to a guy in NY.

People really search for the XFi's after they have had a Metro and learn that there is a higher rated one out there. $3,383.33 is good money for that...makes me feel good that I have a lower mileage one...NO....RESISTING URGE TO MAKE PROFIt...super powers diminishing...must make modification for fuel economy...

i hear you xfi. i finally

i hear you xfi. i finally joined the suzukiclone army a year ago this month actually. and i had a relatively hard time finding one at a decent price - shopped for about 4 months before i got firefly #1. the good ones and the cheap ones were being snapped up *extremely* fast. a few examples of "cream puff" cars i missed out on: Gone in sixty seconds

i ended up making a 20% "profit" when i sold firefly #1. and i spent freely on it for maintenance & upgrades (i.e. if i had known i wasn't going to be keeping it i could have easily made more like 40%).

i practically had to buy it over the phone - i promised the owner a $100 non-refundable deposit if he would agree not to sell the car until i had seen it (the next day). while i was there looking it over, guy's phone was ringing from prospective buyers, and someone else showed up to see it. same story with the blackfly.
