up here in the North East just got a whicked 10 inches or so - talk about a gas mileage hit! OUCH! Nice thing about a 90% grill block is there is PLENTY of heat in the xB . . . have to open the windows in 26 degree temps!

Merry Christmas - Seasons Greetings!

Has the snow stopped in Newport? It's still coming down steady here in Glocester. I'm tired of re-shoveling the same areas.

Yeah, saw that on the news and it looked really pretty and very much in the "White Christmas" theme we see on Christmas cards.

Seeing it on cards is about as close as we get since it is Summer here and bushfire season.

Must be a real PITA to live with once the novelty wears off though.

Cheers , Pete.

Well the real problem I have is a 100 foot driveway and a two car garage with a really big slab of concrete in front of both stalls that all needed shoveling - 3.5 hours of back breaking work.

Try a 60 foot long, 20 foot wide driveway with uneven gravel surface on a steep grade.

Wife and I both have 4wd so I usually don't shovel or get it plowed. Instead, I drive up and down it a bunch of times (that about wraps it up for FE on this tank!) to pack the snow so we have no trouble clearing it. We park in the backyard because the driveway is too steep to park on when there's snow.

I've got a largish sidewalk leading to the driveway and some shoveling to do to make sure we can get to our vehicles in the backyard, though.

This week is supposed to be warm and rainy/sunny, so I expect a lot of melting.
