It's a tempting flight of fancy to imagine if you could make a machine that would provide useful power by shielding magnetic force in one direction but allowing it to work in the other.

Been reading about it since I started reading. The proverbial perpetual motion machine.

Still waiting for one that actually works .

regards
Gary

Well, at least there's something perpetual about them.

well say you took all the energy that a magnet was to ever exude and laid it out on a graph/field, the force one magnets provide would fill 3,000 years worth of fields

Let me tell you something... I was a physics major in college for a period of time, and I currently hold a science degree. There are engineers in this forum as well. Can you please point out the science behind this? If what you're saying is true, we are talking about totally re-writing the laws of thermodynamics.

ok I'm digging up these old videos I watched a while back.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx187...om=PL&index=27

im working on trying this: I actually got the parts for it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMQqn...1&feature=fvwp
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxLw0...eature=related

look here is one in action: without hidden wires there are tons online like this search bedini motors
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9ARj...eature=related
look at the related videos on the above link as well

these motors need an initial push via human or electric jolt to get them going but once they get moving they dont stop

This whole thread is confusing, I've lost the ability to figure out who is being sarcastic and who is being serious.
