I have 4 different maglites and converted them all when they came out with the conversion led's. Got them at wallyworld. They are AWESOME. I will never buy a non led flashlight again.

Mag seems to be dragging its heels when it comes to adoption of LED tech. I guess it's because they have a big production line which makes rapid change difficult.
They released their 2nd generation of LED lights less than a year ago... The first generation used Luxeon III LEDs, while the new ones use Rebel LEDs IIRC. The newer versions are more efficient and have better color rendering, so things don't look so pale.
