loaner 4 a day

I had to go to training last Thursday-Friday. I got a loaner 08 2.0L Nissan Sentra cvt. it had a ave mpg guage, reading 25.4. the car gets 25-33mpg from what the sticker was stating. I reset the mpg and drove my 3hrs around 75-80mph, i pushed my mpg to 33.3 that was fantastic. all the 4 bangers I ever drove in the past, (reg auto or 4-5speed man) i noticed the rpms screaming 3-3500 at that speed, this cvt trans was just hanging at 2100. I'm used to my 22 mpg on my truck, what a difference. the next day I hypermiled the little sentra and my ave was 40.6mpg spiking at 44 once doubling my mileage from my truck is like buying one gallon of gas and getting one free. I might have to search out some cvt 4bangers to trade my truck for. Nissan is working on a rwd cvt but that may take years to get out to the public.
