JDM Parts...

Specifically Honda, but does anyone know what parts are the hottest for JDM enthusiasts? If you don't know, I will be in Japan all summer, with some free time, and I have been saving my money to do a little enterprising...

Hoping to make a list of things to buy/look for...discount to GS members/people who reserve junk!

Current list of to gets:

CRX Rear Seat

Requests:
B18C (Jared)
EG Coin Tray
ITR Exhaust
N360 Fender Mirrors
N360 Taillights
Beat Stuff

Yeah, if anyone wants to buy a bunch of crap in japan and save on shipping I might be able to help, or I might be able to source parts per request, I should have enough free time to spend a good afternoon or two in the junkyard and poking around,

Maybe the JDM coin tray for my VX? It's a little plastic tray that goes where the dimmer usually sits in the dash on the 92-95 Civics in the US. I'm really only looking to spend about $5 on something like that.

Ohh wait... Get me a replica J's Racing intake, preferably a black ABS plastic one. I only need the tube, don't need the filter. According to Dynographs it shifts the HP and Torque Curve lower in RPMs and I want to test it out for FE.

They go for ~ $65 shipped on ebay for the knockoffs but if you can get one for a better price that would be awesome!

OEM Type-R Exhaust

It's probably cheaper to buy state-side (dunno),

...but I've decided to go with a stock Acura (or JDM Honda) Integra Type-R full header-back exhaust system, including the CAT. I may go with a Tri-Y/4-2-1 header to match it all up. The expectation from other 'Teg drivers is a free-flow design with an emphasis on low-end driveability/FE (from their tests) and it's quiet.

Oh, and the 2.2L iCDTi engine if you should happen to find one laying around...

I'll definitely be in touch so you can grab up some small Beat goodies for me! Will you still be posting on here while over there?
