Instructional Video

Today at work I was thinking that someone shold make an instructional video for fuel efficient driving or "how to hypermile". We could sell it for $19.95. Run a piramid sceme. And claim 20% boost in mpg.

Does anyone know of any FE driving videos exsist?

I got a better idea. Dan and Darin make 2 separate videos and send it to Matt. Matt mass produces them for $20 shipped.

That way if the noobs want to learn they can get the video and it will answer a lot of questions. I might also buy it to brush up on my bumstarting and manual skills.

Open Source

I'm one of those open-source type people who believe that hypermiling should be free to anyone who wants to try it. Who knows -- someone out there might be able to provide some new ideas to it. Do you have any auto-trans testers?

I joking about selling it. It would be much micer having free videos on the internet. But I do think, with the right marketing someone chould make a small fortune selling FE videos.

videos

I would burn the discs for free if somebody is willing to produce a video. I do have the capability to edit high definition video if anybody has the camera.

I can't help but think that available video on the site would increase site traffic and get the Hypermiling trend really rolling. OK then, what do we need to get started?

Well, one person to..

Well, one person to drive the car itself to show techniques. Another to catpure the video. Once the video is copied, then a 3rd person could edit and distribute the final copy wether that would be through disc or online.

Free time

I will make a video of my daily commute. It is going to be hard to get the camera to focus on the speedo and the road (lighting differences) I will definately have to experiment. I am ready to do some video work because I haven't done it all summer!
