if you have ever considered adoption...

I found out that there is a huge tax credit towards adoptions. I found this out after we started the process of adopting our first child.

here is the link:

http://taxes.about.com/od/deductions...tioncredit.htm

this is just some info but if you search for it, you will get much more information about it. I was very hesitant to adopt because of the financial burden and if I had known about this earlier, I may have done it sooner.

my daughter is truely a blessing to my family and myself and if you are considering this route for your family, please take a look at this link. It eases the financial burden of the adoption process and gives hope to many children that need loving parents that actually care about them.

Thanks Beef... My wife and I just found out that she is pregnant again! This will be our second. Seems like we have been blessed to be very "fertile" people, but we still want to adopt and not just because it's trendy. I'll show this to her as it seems like we are always stressing out on our finances.

Congrats on you daughter once again!

we stressed about the entire adoption process. the biggest thing is if the mother decided to change her mind, there was nothing we could do about it.

now that all is said and done and we are licking our financial wounds, this is very welcomed news. we do fall under the category of an unfinalized adoption for 2008 which means we will have to wait until 2009 to utelize the credit. the good is that there is something out there, even if we have to wait a year. at least it is there.

my wife and I couldn't have children of our own. many doctors visits and two surgeries later, we adopted our little girl. there truely is no feeling like being a dad.

Thank you adoptors for wanting a child.
Thank you, who chose to give the child a chance,
rather than killing it.
Both have done a wonderful thing.
