I need computer help.

So my mom bought me a laptop for christmas and I need help transferring my old files from the old computer to the laptop. I have 115 Itunes songs that i bought and would prefer not to loose(cause the computer is being given away). Does anybody have a solution for me??? Please help.

burn the files to a CD?

I know that there is actually a way to transfer the contents of the IPOD to the new HDD, but I don't know it. The Google Gods might know it though.

define a network workgroup, and share your drive from PC to laptop, or use a USB thumb drive?

thank you for your help. i did google but didnt find it but upon the second try i saw the apple link. and there was a button for it aslong as reauthorizing this computer. yet again thanks for all your help. good to know this place isnt good for only gas mileage. lol
