The draft does exist, but I will not register. When I applied for financial aid I wasn't 18 so I didn't have to register then.
I am anti-war and I will remain that way even if it is inconvienent or people don't like it.

The draft doesn't exist, but the selective service does. Just so you know it's still required by law to register with selective services.

Was talking to one of my clients yesterday - one of his in-laws got called to Iraq as a National Guard and got killed by a roadside bomb driving a truck - he was 48 years old with family. Pretty sad
