Heh, i think i'll stop convincing folks for now... my wording is still weak as well as my debating skills.

I just hate it when they start poking fun of me and my son what ****ing bastards. In all my life there wasn't ONE ride that my son did not enjoy, he enjoyed all of them no matter what the tire pressure was at. And when he passed out, I knew he was satisfied!

Like a teenage kid would say, "Whatever" i'm done convincing its too hard.

don't feel bad

Hey don't feel bad - I got a royal chewing out on maxmpg for making a "statement" that someone on the group takes his SUV with his POWER BOAT to the Lake and his Dirt Bike to the woods and goes CAMPING several times a month on weekends while trying to SAVE GAS! "THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE!" I quit the group but had some interesting emails back and forth with the guy but the moderators killed my post about how unfair there were to me when I was not making any condesending remark about the person only his use of his poluting toys being taken to the country to escape the polution in the city. Yet others were flaming each other with pages of posts while mine was only two lines and trimmed.

I wouldn't worry about it

I wouldn't worry about it phil. I used to talk about fuel economy on honda-tech until I got sick of being flamed. Most automobile enthusiasts are interested in speed, horsepower, etc. The fellow fuel economy nerd is few and far between.

Now, if you want them to take you seriously, change your signature to gassavers.org :P

I think you hit the nail

I think you hit the nail right on the thumb. Addicts don't even think about changing until it hurts them badly enough.

Most Americans just don't give a rip.

I wouldn't worry too much about it Phil. Here is aquote I read once that should help.

There are web sites that are

There are web sites that are friendly and truly a joy to visit, where newcomers are genuinely welcomed and new ideas are encouraged. When someone shares their troubles, there is atleast as much commiseration as helpful advice.

Then there are web sites like dank dark alleyways that saavy citizens avoid lest they be attacked without provocation. Alteast in real brick-and-mortar alleys, they want to rob you. In those saradonic web alleys, aggressive and arrogant cowards lunge at you for no apparent reason but to justify their own boorish stupidity.

I think I'll keep visiting gassavers and the like, thanks.
