I've been hypermiling since November of last year. Before that I didn't have a car except when I was 16, so I've never had the need to.

I was taught all the basics of hypermiling as a child in the 1960's when my father taught me to drive. Yes he started all three of his children off driving at very young ages.

I used the tools all thru my driving career. Got passionate with them about two years ago.
