Is there anything the civic/ crx people wont do.

Average commute speed=25mph (yes, that's in a car)

I was thinking someone should the the opisit with a del sol, puting a long sloped hatch back on it, insted of the role down rear window and trunk.

the rear glass/hatch on a crx is the heaviest single automotive body piece i have ever had to handle...
the hatch struts do a good job of hiding the excessive tonnage...
i hope the lifters never go bad in the teg...
i'll just rip the hatch off and throw it to the curb...
i bet its just as heavy if not more

I like my rear window. Doesnt need a wiper and snow/ice doesnt have to be removed. But I like it best because it pulls cool air thru the vents while open. Helps keep the car cooler without having windows down or top off. Its also nice to roll down so's I can shoot at the cops during a hypermiling car chase.
