Have you read "Ishmael" or "My Ishmael" ?

I am asking this question because there seem to be some posters who are concerned not only about fuel economy but also with the amount of CO2 and other harmful gases our vehicles emit.

The books are by Daniel Quinn. They are available at some public libraries.

I read that book a lonnnnnnnggggg time ago, probably the 1992 version. I think I liked the first one, but I can't remember if I finished it. Maybe I'll go back and re-read it.
