I've noticed that some users aren't taking care to provide all their data when making fuel-up logs, or else are inputting it incorrectly. These are pretty dramatically skewing the mpg statistics.
Yep, there is a heap load of wrong data here, from people putting tens of fuel ups as one big one to save time, to people getting 2 or even 200 MPG. There is a way to report individual users who may have input bad data, not sure how much a difference that will make though.
Those outlandish MPG claims go inactive after only 2 or 3 postings. I suggest Fuelly accounts with less than 7 postings, which are NOT in the general MPG with other cars in that make/model should be deleted. No great loss with their obvious lies.
