Fairly cheap hydroelectric generator idea

Here's an idea, I am currently in the process of building a hydroelectric generator using the turbine out of an old torque converter. Torque converters contain Francis turbines, the same kind of turbines that are used in low to medium head hydroelectric plants. The only problem I am having right now is figuring out how to connect two different pipes to the turbine.
