1993civicvx,
I saw that thread about the run on water. I just think the whole water thing (if it actually works) is way too complicated for your average person. and if it were so effective then someone would have made an easy to install and mass produced version of it. I see it kind of like I do the stuff you put in your gas tank. they guarantee "up to" stupid crazy mileage in every bottle.
still waiting for someone to create a post about the "water car" that isn't trying to sell something or promote something .
bowtieguy,
I work with the youth at my church (I am not a pastor, just a leader) someone told me about that site as I tried to get away from the cookie cutter sunday school books. another thing is that you can change the version that you are looking at so you can compare one version to another. I also think that you can look up topics powered by naves topics. it is a great resource.

I heard that there is a naturally occuring event that produces more heat than exhaust gas. it is cow poots. that was a john boy and billy stupie quiz question. (it is a morning radio show, a little red neck, a lot funny). it was a while back though, maybe 5 years or so. the data may be old or just inaccurate.
(now I am just fueling the fire)

anyway, as previously stated, i put little faith in news sources. i don't live my life as a walking encyclopedia, but i do like absorbing info. but, i do not take the time to record my findings--too much like work.

We've done so well with Freecycle that about 3 years ago we had a 3-day "yard sale" but everything was free. Many FE minded people would likely find Freecycle helpful. I know - tangential to the topic, but good topics here breed a lot of good discussion. Thought I'd share.

It's all about the underpants gnomes:
Step 1: Acquire underpants
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit
Once we figure out the secret behind step 2, we're golden.

That's because the government puts drugs in our drinking water.

THAT, for certain, is not a conspiracy.
what about...
a friend and former co-worker suggested to me that the US has never really landed on the moon.
i watched a program on the history channel once that gave compelling arguments for and against this conspiracy.

short pencil is better than long memory. Many more underwater active volcanoes have been discovered since the date of that article. I am glad that GW happens every day or else we would be Popsicles. Why do we have all the water? How did it get here? Why is it still here? Why do we just live a very short time compared to the age of the Earth? Why.....
