Ban on religious marriages?

Interesting backlash from the ban gay marriage stupidity anyway.

I suspect you already know the answer, but...

His history is not completely devoid of FE-related posts.

It's not about the message. It's about the forum.

Regarding the marriage thing...I personally don't care. I'm legally married to my wife and have no interest in making religion a part of that, nor do I have interest in controlling who else gets married or why. I don't care if gays can or can't, I don't care if born-agains can or can not, I don't care if religion is part of someone else's marriage or not. I don't like the idea of the government getting involved in ANY of those questions, but I don't really care that much...I've got much bigger fish to fry. There's far more consequential things that the government needs to get out of.

What does offend me is a user who is on a fuel economy forum solely for political discussion. Perhaps BEEF agrees. You know that there are forums entirely about politcs, where you could post your occasional FE-related thought along with your constant poltical stuff, right? In such a place, you could bicker about politics with others who also want to bicker about politics.

BTW, your heavy concentration on politics is a religion. According to Random House dictionary, here's a couple definitions of religion:
Quote:
- a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects
- something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience
You should keep that out of government and marriage.

I assumed that since the election was over that all of this would stop. I was wrong. I guess it is an ongoing thing for some people.

it also seems that the only time that religion is a target is in the political arena.

on a side note: my mileage is suckling due to lower temps. I am planning on redoing my WAI with a larger piece of aluminum but have not found the time.

Anymore, government is a religion of it's own. Bad deal as that's where we should be free of it.

Banning religious marraige would save fuel from all the people that won't be going to churches to be a part of them. Also, there wouldn't be honeymoons taken that would eat up fuel.

Otherwise, +another about Skewbe & his stirring-up.
