to keep your house cool, run a fan in the attick at nite, if you have a window.

Wouldn't that just draw your a/c cooled air out of the house?

yes, on cool days where you can have the windows open during the day do run a fan sucking air up and blowing into the attic. or we use a old furnace blower fan stickin out of our basement window on one end of the house and open ONE window on the other , sucks outside air thru the window and all thru the house and blows it out the other, gets a nice breeze thru the house

Your A/C cooled air shouldn't be in your attic if you have decent insulation -- but if you have that decent insulation then cool attic air isn't going to help your house either.

I try to use fans to bring in cool air overnight then close the windows in the morning to trap in the cool air.
