Any photographers?
I just ordered a black friday special Olympus OM-D M10 with the 14-42 and 40-150 lenses. I enjoyed photography 40 years ago through school but fell away. I'm looking forward to playing around with it again. Any other photographers on the forum? What do you like to shoot, both gear and subjects?

I am a keen photographer, no professional, just a hobby/past time. I used to have a nice DSLR but sadly it got destroyed in a car accident 2 years ago, still waiting for my compensation to replace it! I too did photography in college, found the entire process from setting a shot up, to developing in dark rooms very interesting.
Now I have no camera, no tablet, no computer or laptop, just my little old smartphone, I still take thousands of pictures every day, but miss the uploading and editing. My favourite things to shoot are nature inspired, local landscapes and cars! There's a link to a Facebook page I setup for my photographs in my signature below, feel free to have a nosy and send me some feedback

That's some cool photos. That's one of the problems over here. Very little is old enough to be as cool as so much of what you have over there. Thanks for the link. It's cool.

Hey no problem. I see you managed to change to profile pic, looks cool. Yea couldn't help but notice when I was in the US, most things look less than 100 years old, very difficult to find old interesting things. But there's still some stunning landscapes out there, from East to West, plenty to photograph!

I used to take a lot of pictures of bikes, during events and racing. I'm not a great photographer, but do my best to take some good pictures. I usually check out pictures at bikepics.com where I also uploaded some of my pictures. The website probably has millions of bike pictures.

What kind of bikes? Road, downhill, motorcycle? I enjoy photographing cars in scenic areas, up mountains, in forests or on the beach. I just like the contrast between a man-made machine and an epic natural landscape, even though they are complete opposites, they still kind of go together. The only recognition I got recently was on Renault UK's Facebook page, to date they have used/shared 5 of my pictures and gave me 4 free tickets to the Goodwood festival of speed back in June. It's not made me a famous millionaire, but it's nice to have a bit of credit

I like all motorcycles, maybe sportbikes a little bit more. Every day on Bikepics you can vote for the picture of the day, and then at the end of the year you can vote for picture of the year and month. The website is also useful if you just want to see a lot of pictures of any bike, and see what modifications other people did to their bikes.
Here is the website:

Here is a few pictures that I uploaded:

Yeah, that was a quick cell phone shot of my Prius I got 3 months ago. It's in a public area on Clear Lake, just south of Houston. I need a better shot of it in a better spot but it was spur of the moment settling on what was available.
ETA I'm not sure why some posts don't show the photo like this one.

Not a big fan of bikes myself, although there are some very well executed shots there!
LBD, your profile pic doesn't show when you post initially, but go back to the page later or click refresh and it's there. Just a little forum glitch.
