And America Has..........

Here is what Singapore has;
It's the infinity pool of the Skypark that tops the Marina Bay Sands hotel towers in Singapore.
And it's the coolest pool that I've ever seen.
The Sands Skypark features a 150-metre-long infinity pool overlooking Singapore's city skyline and Marina Bay,
a public observation deck and a restaurant run by a celebrity chef.

Here is what The United States of America has;

America once; Can Do!
America today; may I?

Think about it.

That pool is crazy- it looks like the swimmer is about to get sucked over a waterfall.

I'll tell you what we have... A high-rise hotel in Vegas with an amusement park, complete with roller coaster, on the roof!

Better than any pool on a roof.

I love thrill rides, but I may be just a bit too chicken to ride some of that stuff there on the top of that building. I am afraid of heights.

I guarantee you, the roller coaster at the top of the Stratosphere hotel/casino is the tamest coaster you'll ever ride. The one to ride in Vegas is the one in New York, New York (casino).

I'm not impressed by that Singapore pool. It's likely to be torn down and renovated within 50 years. We've got Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Carlsbad Caverns, etc. What's Singapore got to match those?

The US has plenty of rooftop pools. We've also got rooftop gardens, which I think are more interesting...they make the building more efficient as well as contributing some plant life in cities where its air quality improvement is desperately needed.

LOL... I rode the green thing in the picture hanging over the side of the roof. No one else in my group would ride with me. Kinda lame as it just "shoots" you out over the edge and drops you about 15 ft, but whatever, still fun to look straight down and see the view.
