scarce: recyclable oil for bio diesel

a friend in the UK, running a recycling company, is having serious difficulty getting the raw product (by the ton). he has been very resourceful.

anyone have thoughts where to get LARGE quantities.

In the US, I'd suggest:
- existing cooking oil disposal companies that pick up oil from restaurants
- used motor oil from public repositories (such as collected at landfills / waste management facilities), and at mechanic shops

I don't know if my suggestions would be as valid across the pond, as disposal may work differently there.

He's probably not equipped to process motor oil, though I'm pretty sure that it can be done just as well.
