We've added Facebook and Twitter automatic posting

We've added Twitter and Facebook sharing! A long asked for feature has been the ability to automatically post your fuel ups and other info to your Twitter feed and Facebook wall. Go into your Settings, connect Twitter and Facebook to your Fuelly profile, and then select which items you'd like to share on those services. Demo screenshots after the jump

Facebook wall posting of a friend addition on Fuelly:

Twitter post of a new profile pic added to a vehicle:

We'll be adding more features connected to this, like the ability to login to Fuelly using your Twitter or Facebook credentials as well. Let us know if you run into any problems.

Is there a delay on this? I authorized this through twitter but it's not making the posts for me.

I've just set this up on my account and I think the posting to Facebook isn't using my units preference. I have mine set to UK MPG. My last fuel up was 53.8, but was shown as 44.8 on FB (which looks like the equivalent in US MPG).

benlings, we use your "display units" preference to determine which units to send out to Twitter or Facebook. Click "Settings" on the left side of the page, and make sure you have UK units selected. Give it another shot with a test fuel-up and report back if you're still getting US MPG.

I changed the setting from UK -> US -> UK again and added a test fuel-up. The message came through on Facebook as UK MPG, so I think it worked. Thanks,
