I really dig the brief "Basic Stats" box. Is there a simple way to aggregate all the gallons poured in for the year (not all time, just for the year)? It'd be useful in estimating the cost difference one were to have between a regular and premium fuel car.
For now, your best option is to export your data, open it in Excel (or another spreadsheet program), and calculate the gallons column for the year.
As I mentioned a few posts down, we're working on a redesign that will make it possible to show more stats on vehicle profile pages and fuel volume for the current year sounds like a good candidate.
