Smoothed graph lines
I hate to be a pain...
I hate to be a pain, but is there a reason why it was changed from a regular old scatter plot to a squiggly line graph?
If you guys are really attached to the squiggly lines -- can we at least get the option of using a regular old straight line plot? I can only speak for myself, but they certainly don't add anything of value, and to me at least they look silly.
I gave it a few days to see if it would stop bugging me, but every time I see them I wish we had the old graphs back.

I agree here. I'm not a fan of the smoothed lines, and I don't think there's much of a point to them since we are tracking our MPG per fill up, and each fill up is a point on the graph.

We actually improved the graphing by moving to a new visualization engine. The date axis is now way more accurate, spacing fuel ups at irregular intervals, as you fueled up. Previously the old graphs just evenly placed the dates which is a poor way to represent data.
The line smoothing is really minor and we may turn it off but we get a lot of knee jerk feedback to any changes. Our personal rule is usually to wait a week to a month before reconsidering changes.

Yes, I agree, and that's why I gave it a few days to see if it bugged me enough to ask. If it were a functional change, I wouldn't have bothered, but this is purely aesthetic. Same reason people complain about the new colors and what not.
The time-proportional graphing, on the other hand, is a BIG improvement and I remember seeing requests for it pretty much since the site went live.
Your constant effort to improve the site is always appreciated!

Only problem I have, is my graph line was backwards on a day I filled up twice. It put my last fill up for that day before the one earlier in the day. Smooth or straight don't matter. I think the curves are sexy. LOL

Of course I go to look at it today, and its fine. Maybe it only did it till I added another fuel up... But it was backwards.

There's nothing to download, cssuk. Go to m.fuelly.com in your Android browser. Here's more info.

I Agree, back to straight lines please. Also, I now can't see either graph (monthly avg or mpg by fillup) on my android phone. Native browser or Opera mini. I used to be able to see the by fillup graph but now that's gone too.
