Site went down today

Well, the site didn't go down.. it was sitting here waiting to be accessed.

What went down were the two nameservers which handle all DNS requests to GasSavers.org.

I purchased a new nameserver and it's already begun to propogate through the internet, which is why some of you are able to access GasSavers now.

Here in Utah I'm still unable t oaccess it, but I got around it by adding GasSavers.Org to my hosts file so that it doesn't need to ping the nameservers.

I apologize for any problems this caused anyone today. I know it stressed me out

I do notice that sort of thing from time to time just about all over the net. I usually just go do something else and come back later.

Well at least you aren't in the same boat as the SHAC 7 for running a website.
