Simplistic Layout

I am a fan of minimalism. I see no need for lots and lots of flashy graphics and other crap clogging up the site. Because of this I've tried to make the layout very simplistic.

In all reality I based the layout on a great website my friend runs, www.bikeforums.net. Check it out... really!

I would love to hear feedback on the layout, or hear any changes you'd like to see. If you are good with photoshop and are able to create some cool custom images I may use them.

i think what you have now is pretty sweet. i know what you mean about minimalizm and i feel the same way to a degree. fortunately most of the thinning out of the frills you can do yourself as you edit the options.

Layout

It runs very smoothly. When I press the back button, my writing isn't erased, very good!

As soon as I find other improvements, I'll be shouting out.

- Its nice to see the previous posts while your writing a new one too

Simple is better. Especially while I'm figuring the new stuff out.

This is one of the best improvements IMO...besides the sick speed of the new server.

I like the quick reply feature because that's what I generally do on H-T, and the fact that you can use ctrl functions for typing.

When reading something and you want to quick reply right away what's the hotkey? I kind of can't use the mouse right now (charging) and was wondering if there's any tips to faster browsing using only the keyboard? I'm using firefox by the way.

tab is a pain to get through a links but hey its the only way when you only have one to propell the other
