I am trying to have Fuelly banner as my signature. I have noticed that some members have THREE of those just fine, but no matter what I do, I can not set mine.
I get "bb" not allowed or "too many lines" error message.
I can not go into settings and adjust BB permission.
Is this some sort of a noob restriction, or else? LIke I said, others have same banners and plenty of them...

Thank you

I know they have a lot of restrictions on new guys because we ran into quite a bit of spam a while back. it was really bad for a while and since they put the restrictions on newbies, it has gotten better.

two moderators that are pretty active are theholycow and jay2therescue. you may want to PM them and see what they say. they are also pretty good with code as well so they can help you if that isn't the case.

It's no problem. HC and I already have several posts exchanged. I understand. It's like this in many forums, you have to build up reputation to get some perks.
No big deal.
And there is work around around anything:

Interesting. You have over 1000 posts - and still can't have BB sig?

Post your fuelly BB Code here, and I'll see what I can do to make it work.

Ok, I figured out your Fuelly code, but I can't seem to make it work. I don't have access to the portion of the admin controls I need to edit. I'll have to get a hold of one of the head admins to fix it for you.

That is mighty nice of you, Jay.
Btw, no worries. I am mod in DIY forum and member in quite a few automotive forums. Invaluable help can always be found online.
Do you still need my BB? As in other sites, one can go into his user CP and change settings so that those are allowed, but not here.
Yes, you were the one I was referring to on sig-s.
You know, just to save on time, here's BB

and here's HTML, but HTML says "too many lines, only 3 are allowed":
<a href="http://www.fuelly.com/driver/ukrkoz/camry" target="_blank"><img src="http://badges.fuelly.com/images/sig-us/90562.png" width="500" height="63" alt="Fuelly" title="Share and compare MPG at Fuelly" border="0"/></a>

Also, when I try to upload image to my garage, it ends up in "website not found" error message after I hit "upload" button.

Yes, we know there are issues with the garage, and we have a team working on totally replacing it. I don't know exactly when the new garage is going public, but I've been playing with it behind the scenes, and trust me, everyone is going to like it. In the mean time, I'll work on getting Fuelly signature images to work for all members.
