What about is the vehicle is classified as "other"? Does it disappear definitely?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
This thread is how to manually remove/retire a vehicle you're no longer tracking.
If you're referring to the vehicle model/submodel being marked as "other", then no, the vehicle will not be deleted. Are you wanting to retire that vehicle from your garage? It still won't be removed unless you delete it.
